Lizette Salas is an American golfer, playing on the LPGA tour for America. She was born in Azusa, California and graduated in year 2011; she did a degree in sociology. Daughter of Ramon and Martha Salas, she started playing golf at the age of 7 and gives credit to her dad for the person who influenced her to play golf. Total earnings for her till date are $711,287.00.
In her initial career, she started playing golf at Southern California University. Here, she recorded three wins. One of these was Pacific Athletic Conference (2008)- freshman of the Year.
Her hobbies are playing basketball, dance, shopping, music and zumba. After golf she says that her passion is Latin dancing. She qualified the LPGA tour in the first attempt. Recently in 2013, she chose Greg Puga to be her caddie who was a rookie to the profession. She is a regular user of Twitter and tweets from @LizetteSalas5.

She is one of the best players in the U.S and is now looking at becoming the first All-American for the fourth time. In the 2010 campaign, she had two top three finishes. In the beginning of spring season, she started with a tie for ted seventh position at Northrop Grumman Challenge. She also tied for the second position, at Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. She tied for second position at the Battle at Rancho Bernardo.
2012 for Salas – 18 events in total, 16 cuts made, best finish was at the Sime Darby LPGA in Malaysia

– Had a career-low 65 at 2012 Navistar LPGA Classic in the first round
In 2011, she turned professional and finished at a tie for the 20th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. She also recorded a best in career at the Island Resort Championship. This was in the Symetra Tour.
She is a native of Azusa in South California. She is now in her second year of LPGA game, she has top-ten finishes in four tournaments this season. Her father was a mechanic at Azusa Greens public golf course for long period of 33 years. Her parents are natives of Mexico and it did not take long to recognize her talent. At the age of 15, she had a record 62 in the junior tournament.

When she wakes up in the morning the first thing she does is to switch on music. Salas first shared her story at the 2011 graduation ceremony for the USC student athletes. She shared where she came from and said that people don’t expect much from a Latin.
